How does BriizPay work?

BriizPay uses UK Open Banking to enable secure bank-to-bank transfers. Your customers pay directly from their bank account to yours through their banking app - no cards, no contactless payments, just instant bank transfers. You can generate payment links or QR codes that customers scan to complete payments through their own banking app.

What are the transaction fees?

BriizPay charges 0% transaction fees on all plans. Since we use UK Open Banking for direct bank transfers, there are no card processing fees, no transaction fees, and no hidden charges. You only pay your fixed monthly subscription fee (£24.99 for Starter or £49.99 for Growth).

Is there a limit on transactions?

All BriizPay plans include unlimited transactions. However, a fair usage policy applies to ensure the service remains stable and secure for all users. We reserve the right to review accounts with exceptionally high transaction volumes to ensure compliance with our terms of service.

How quickly do I receive payments?

Since BriizPay uses UK Open Banking for direct bank transfers, payments are processed instantly. Funds are transferred directly from your customer's bank account to yours in real-time, giving you immediate access to your money.

What payment methods can I accept?

BriizPay uses UK Open Banking, which means customers pay directly from their UK bank account through their banking app. This works with all major UK banks and building societies. Customers simply authorize the payment through their own banking app - no cards, no contactless, just secure bank-to-bank transfers.

Do I need special hardware?

No! BriizPay works entirely through UK Open Banking, so you don't need any payment terminals, card readers, or special hardware. You can generate payment links or QR codes using our app or website, and customers pay directly through their own banking app. It's that simple!

Is BriizPay available outside the UK?

Currently, BriizPay services are only available to businesses operating within the United Kingdom. We're working on expanding to other regions in the future.

Yes! Tip functionality is available on our Growth (£49.99/month) and Enterprise plans. This allows your customers to easily add tips when making payments.

How many devices can I use?

The number of devices depends on your plan: Starter allows up to 2 devices, Growth allows up to 5 devices, and Enterprise offers unlimited devices. Perfect for businesses with multiple staff members or locations.

What happens if I want to cancel?

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.

Is my payment data secure?

Absolutely. BriizPay uses UK Open Banking, which is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). All payments are processed directly between banks through secure, encrypted connections. We never see or store your customers' banking credentials - they authorize payments through their own bank's secure app. This is one of the safest ways to accept payments.

Can I get a discount?

Yes! Use a referral code when signing up to save £5 on your subscription. You can also save 2 months per year by choosing our yearly billing option. Additionally, you can earn up to £25 per referral through our referral program.
